Uruguay Bird Hunting - La Paz Lodge

Los Gauchos Outfitters is proud to offer this hunting destination for all wingshooters. This is the only place in South America to experience the first class doves and pigeons and Perdiz during the months of May, June, and July. The accommodations are first class too and non hunters will enjoy the culture, food, and pace of Uruguay.

The bird hunting options out of La Paz include Uruguay dove hunting, perdiz hunting, duck hunting and pigeon hunting. Dorado fishing is also part of this package. The best time to get a taste of all the bird hunting and fishing is May through July.

The duck hunting is a morning hunt and while we advise the duck hunter to take advantage of our 2 lodges located on the eastern side of the country - FORTIN and RIO BRANCO, you can get a good bird hunting trip out of La Paz with a duck hunt in the morning followed by an afternoon of high volume doves or the classic Uruguay Perdiz hunt.

Los Gauchos has a long history with La Paz and offering bird hunting excursions to clients all over the world. La Paz is a resort like lodge that hosts clients other than bird hunters. High time at La Paz is January and February, which is South America's summer and vacation months.

During the duck hunting season you will find La Paz extremely convenient and comfortable as most of the residents will only be Los Gauchos clients.
